A statement not to be sniffed at

Environment protection rates very highly at Papier Peters. It is our intention to achieve an optimum use and, consequently, a use of water, energy and raw materials as small as possible. We apply in this connection consistent production mechanisms and technological processes that are a contribution to the protection of natural resources.

For the production of all Peters products, only waste paper is used. Our enterprise meets an important function in the recycling process in the Federal Republic with the processing of approximately 220,000 tons of waste paper. Our total production policy is consistently adapted to environmental compatibility and thus sets for our line of industry the standards in the sense of a clean future.

Lately, we have carried out comprehensive measures in order to achieve a reduction of the waste volume from waste processing, the solid matter content in the waste water and the specific energy consumption in the course of paper production.

The continuous investment in new technologies thus serves not only the increase of our productivity and economy, but we always set a goal providing a contribution as high as possible to care for the environment.
